New Year, New You?
It is always a good thing to have new goals in a new year to improve yourself. Setting goals is a good habit we all must get better at doing. Losing weight. Improving marriage. Parenting better. Being more kind to others. Save money. Spend less. Read more.
But one area that every one must first address and improve is their relationship with their Creator, God. We do this through faith in Jesus Christ, the Savior of the World.

People are looking for answers. Maybe you find yourself in that same place. Over the past year, we have seen the explosive growth of extreme persecution against Christians around the world. We watched as Charlie Kirk was publicly executed on a college campus for his Christian faith and desire to have conversations and dialogue with people. Our children are targeted in public schools with radical indoctrinations that have nothing to do with education or helping them become successful in society. While politics are important and essential in our nation, we’ve watched as groups of people have chosen to become violent and hateful against those with which they disagree.
Marriages are struggling like never before. Parenting seems to be getting harder. Technology that once seemed helpful is now destroying the fabric of the family and our homes. Social media is programming our children and destroying interpersonal relationships and the ability of people to relate and communicate. Crime. Addiction. Global conflicts.

WHAT DO WE DO?
ISOLATE? | LISTEN TO FAVORITE INFLUENCER? | FOLLOW THE NOISE?
People are looking for answers. More people are returning to Church and are purchasing Bibles. But empty religion will not help. Actually it will hurt and make things worse.
People need Jesus! People need a relationship with their Creator, God!
Everyone can see the world is broken. With such uncertainty around us, a new year cannot simply be about losing a few pounds and endeavoring to be a good person. “10 Steps to Happiness”, self-help, and religious fluff will not GET IT RIGHT.
Your life matters and you were created with purpose. JESUS is the answer! It is time to stop playing games with life and eternity. Self-help religion is dead.

YOU are invited to join us at CONVO Church to kick off 2026 as we open the Bible to address 4 specific areas in our life where we must GET IT RIGHT.
Week 1 - JAN 4TH
GET MY FAITH RIGHT
The Bible teaches clearly about the importance of our Faith being rightly rooted and planted on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ and the Truth of God’s Word. This week we will open God’s Word and learn practically how to build faith that will last as well as what to avoid that can be faith killers.
Week 2 - JAN 11TH
GET MY MISSION RIGHT
Every Jesus follower gets connected to God’s mission to bring the Gospel to the World God loves. Each of us have different gifts and skills given to us by God to make a difference. But we must first make sure we connect our lives to God’s mission and avoid distractions that keep us from living with God’s purpose.
Week 3 - Jan 18th
GET MY MONEY RIGHT
Finances impact every person and almost every aspect of life. The Bible teaches us that all we have is from God. The human responsibility is to be a good steward of what God has given. We will look at what the Bible teaches us about money, how to steward it and use what God has given us to not simply live for ourselves, but to be obedient and faithful with our resources to make a difference and live blessed.
Week 4 - Jan 25th
GET MY CORE RIGHT
Maybe you are doing a few more sit-ups in the new year working on your physical core. We know a strong core is what helps maintain body health and strength. The same is true spiritually. We will see what the Bible teaches about the core disciplines that strengthen our faith to give us longevity and strength in our spiritual walk as disciples of Jesus Christ.
