Many of us grew up surrounded by faith. We knew the songs, sat through the services, and could recite the right answers. But at some point, a quiet question surfaces: is this actually mine? That is where Amber found herself a few years ago when wanting to find a church to truly call home. She grew up as a pastor's kid, so being in church was not a far out concept - but she still longed for a Church for HER family, rather than inherited from her upbringing.
If you can relate to Amber's story, be encouraged! Faith was never meant to be a solo journey. It was always meant to be lived alongside others who are honest about their struggles and serious about their growth. Community does not just make faith more enjoyable. It makes faith more possible.
Run to the arms of the Father and find community that will help you in the hard times and lead you closer to Jesus. There is nothing you can do that can separate you from the love of Jesus. "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come" - 2 Corinthians 5:17
